Methods for maintaining stainless steel filter screens
With the rapid development of the economy, the use of stainless steel filters has become more widespread. Stainless steel products are very common in our daily life, but many people do not have much understanding of the performance of stainless steel. Many people think that stainless steel will not rust, but in fact, stainless steel has good corrosion resistance. The reason is that a passivation film forms on the surface, which exists in a more stable oxide form in nature. So stainless steel will still be oxidized, so how should we maintain the stainless steel filter screen?
In the passivation film on the surface of stainless steel, areas with weak corrosion resistance form pitting reactions due to self-excited reactions, forming small pores, and with chloride ions approaching, forming a strong corrosive solution, accelerating the rate of corrosion reactions. Stainless steel filter screens and intergranular corrosion cracking inside stainless steel, all of which have a destructive effect on the passivation film on the surface of stainless steel. Therefore, regular cleaning and maintenance must be carried out on the surface of stainless steel filters to maintain their luxurious appearance and extend their service life. When cleaning the surface of stainless steel, attention must be paid to avoiding surface scratches, avoiding the use of bleach and abrasive detergent, steel wire balls, grinding tools, etc. To remove the detergent, rinse the surface with clean water after washing.
